Aaron Cox is one of the best Detroit Photographers in the state of Michigan. He is a Michigan State University graduate with a BA degree in Telecommunications. He moved to NYC after graduation to study life in front of the camera, acting for TV & Film at a New York 2-year Conservatory.
He freelanced as a videographer in the Big Apple, and shot for Print Producers on assignments for Cosmo, Allure, Seventeen Magazine and a dozen other publications.
While, in NY, he also freelanced as a casting assistant in Casting for TV & Film production, shooting for clients like MTV, VH1, Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, and many Beauty & Skincare brands. In the casting process, he learn to find actors for all types of productions.
Aaron co-wrote a teleplay which was optioned by Fox. After signing the option-agreement
Aaron left New York and made the pilgrimage out West to sunny LA. Over the years, Aaron continued to find work as a ghostwriter and consultant for various Producers and Executives. Aaron also began pitching Reality TV shows teaming up with Executive Producers such as Eric Conte, Suzanne de Passe, and Judge Greg Mathis to create and pitch Reality TV series.
As a Casting Director, Aaron cast a plethora of projects for various producers and directors, one highlight was casting all the North American runway models on Season 1 of Victoria's Secret royalty... Heidi Klum's "Making the Cut" on Amazon Prime Network.
Throughout all the projects and phases of Aaron's career he has always leveraged his skill and passion for photography from the Big Apple to Hollywood... and right now he is one of the best portrait photographers here in the Motor City of Detroit. Whether the photo sessions are with studio strobe or in natural light...
